For International Women's Month 2024, I asked the beautiful Obiani to help me create a series of photos inspired by the iconic Grace Jones. The 3 Grace Jones photos I used as inspiration were the album covers for Nightclubbing, Pull Up to the Bumper, and Island Life.


Grace Jones, the Jamaican-American singer, actress, and model, represents empowerment, individuality, and breaking boundaries. She's been an icon in the realms of music, fashion, and entertainment, challenging conventional norms with her bold style, fierce demeanor, and unapologetic attitude. Jones has been an inspiration to many women, encouraging them to embrace their uniqueness, defy social expectations, and pursue their dreams fearlessly. Her impact transcends borders, cultures, and generations, making her a symbol of strength and empowerment for women around the world.
